"Pull the Pin" (12 tracks, 46 min.) starts of tremendously, with the punch of the hard charging "Soldiers Make Good Targets" and "Pass the Buck", as good as anything the band has done. It is followed by the more mellow "It Means Nothing" (1st UK single), which is Ok/5(57). Reply

Pull The Pin has urgency, a sense of menace and though it deals with issues like war ('Soldiers Make Good Targets') and the London bombings, there's little of the sanctimonious rhetoric Stereophonics of old were guilty of spouting. All this publication's reviews; Read full review; Spin. Solid and well crafted. Reply
